Building a Sustainable Future: A Moroccan Youth Perspective

Youth can play a crucial role in planning a sustainable future. Morocco has demonstrated the importance of innovation in development, particularly through its advancements in renewable energy, such as the Noor Ouarzazate Solar Complex. However, real transformation requires the active involvement of young people.

Access to education and employment remains challenging, especially in rural areas. Digital literacy and skills acquisition can empower young people to take the lead. Social equity, fostered through inclusive planning and social entrepreneurship, is also a fundamental pillar of sustainability.

International cooperation, such as the Braga 2030 programme, promotes innovation. Sustainability is a mindset—through innovation and responsibility, we can build a future that honors both people and the planet.
